2. Data Collection Scope and Purpose
The Sean App is divided into basic functional data and optional functional data according to the purpose of data collection. The basic functional data is the minimum data required to run the App's core functions, and the optional functional data is the data required to use the App's extended functions. The user can choose to provide or refuse the optional functional data at any time, and the refusal will not affect the use of the App's basic functions. All data collected by the App is only used to realize the corresponding App functions, and will not be used for any other purposes.
2.1 Basic Functional Data (No Consent Required, Local Collection & Storage)
The basic functional data is collected and stored locally on the user's mobile device when the App is running, without the need for the user's additional consent, and the operator will not collect any of the following data:
Device Sensor Data: The App collects the real-time data of the user's mobile device's microphone only for the noise decibel measurement function, and the data is calculated and processed locally on the device, and will not be uploaded to any server;
Local Operation Data: The App collects the user's local operation records (such as function opening/closing, parameter setting) only for remembering the user's use habits and realizing the continuous use of the App's functions, and the data is stored locally on the device;
Local Generated Data: The decibel monitoring data, noise map annotations, and communication content edited by the user through the App's template generated by using the App's functions are all stored locally on the user's mobile device, and the App only provides data storage and management services for the above content.
2.2 Optional Functional Data (Collected Only With Explicit User Consent)
The App's extended functions (such as AI online chat, online soothing music playback, cloud backup of exported data) need to collect a small amount of optional functional data, and the App will pop up a clear consent prompt before collecting the above data, and only collect and process the data after the user clicks "Agree". The optional functional data collected by the App includes:
Network Access Data: When the user uses the AI online chat and online music playback functions, the App will collect the user's mobile device's network access information (such as network type, IP address) only for realizing the network communication of the function, and the data is only used for the real-time transmission of the function content, and will not be stored by the operator;
Location Information (Optional): When the user uses the location-based noise map annotation function, the App can collect the user's real-time location information (obtained through the mobile device's GPS or network positioning) according to the user's explicit consent, and the location information is only used for the annotation of the noise map and stored locally on the device. The user can close the location permission of the App at any time through the mobile device's setting, and the App will stop collecting the location information immediately;
AI Interaction Content: When the user uses the AI online chat function, the user's input chat content and AI's reply content will be temporarily stored on the operator's server only for the continuous chat of the current session, and the server will automatically delete the above content within 24 hours after the end of the chat session, and will not retain the AI interaction content for a long time.
The user can view and manage the optional functional data permission of the App at any time through the Settings module of the App or the permission management of the mobile device, and can close the corresponding permission at any time to stop the App's collection of the above data. Closing the optional functional data permission will only make the corresponding extended function unavailable, and will not affect the use of the App's basic functions (such as local noise monitoring, local data export).
3. Data Storage and Processing
The Sean App adheres to the local storage priority principle, and all user data is processed and stored in the following ways to ensure the security of the data:
Local Storage: All core data generated by the user using the App (including decibel monitoring data, noise map annotations, operation records, and edited communication content) is stored in the local storage space of the user's mobile device (such as the App's sandbox directory), and the operator does not have access to the above local data.
